Mission Statement

Promote and engage in a coordinated effort to ensure that water
provided to the Ventura County agricultural community is of high
quality and is protected from degradation by upstream sources of
pollution

Goals

Ensure a coordinated response from the agricultural community in
Ventura County on issues of common interest

Preserve the right of the agricultural community to high quality water
as provided by the California Water Code

Effectively communicate the threat posed to Ventura County
agricultural production by water which is being polluted by upstream
sources

Gain recognition as an equal participant in the water quality regulatory
arena

Obtain regulatory relief that will ensure the protection of high quality
water for agricultural uses

The Structure of the Coalition

The Ventura Agricultural Water Quality Coalition is an informal
affiliation of many organizations which have pledged to engage in a
coordinated effort to achieve the goals of the Coalition
